Veterinary Council of Nigeria Denies Accreditation to Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Benin

The Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN) announces that the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Benin, has been denied accreditation. This decision follows a recent comprehensive assessment by the VCN, which found the faculty falling short of the required standards for veterinary education in Nigeria. Consequences of this Decision Halt on Graduation: The VCN will not induct any graduates from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Benin until the faculty achieves the required standards and is granted accreditation.
