 The Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN), in a continuous effort to combat quackery and uphold standards in the animal health sector, has inducted 120 Veterinary Para-Professionals (VPPs). The induction ceremony took place on Tuesday, July 30th, at the Federal Polytechnic Mubi, where the VPPs graduated from the Department of Animal Health and Production Technology. This induction signifies the VCN's commitment to strengthening the veterinary workforce and ensuring that only qualified individuals provide animal healthcare services. By registering and regulating VPPs, the council aims to maintain the integrity of the profession and safeguard animal welfare.
